Austrian Senior Team Championships

From 1st - 3rd June 2018 there was a genuine highlight for local amateur golfers with Generation 50+. A huge field of participants battled in 6 divisions to achieve victory for their local club.

The Golf Club Kitzbüheler Alpen Westendorf made the grade (5A) and in the coming year will start in division six.

On the first day of play John C. Templeton achieved 1/2 point on GC Ottenstein - the only result that GC Kitzbüheler Alpen Westendorf was able to note on the day. On the second day of the tournament our team lost 3 individual matches, each on the final hole (only Steffen Tschann was successful in a draw), in the classic four we lost to our neighbours GC Kitzbühel Schwarzsee, 4 to 3, a crucial match for relegation.
